Position Summary

We are seeking a motivated and experienced Construction Sales Representative to join our dynamic team. The ideal candidate will be responsible for driving business growth by identifying new client opportunities and nurturing existing relationships within a designated territory. This role is a perfect fit for a results-oriented individual with a deep understanding of the construction industry and a passion for building lasting partnerships. You will be a key liaison between our clients and our skilled craft employees, ensuring seamless service and project success.

Key Responsibilities

• Business Development: Proactively identify, prospect, and secure new business with general contractors, subcontractors, and project managers through cold calling, networking, and strategic outreach.
• Account Management: Cultivate and maintain strong, long-lasting relationships with existing clients. Serve as the primary point of contact to ensure client satisfaction, address concerns, and identify opportunities for growth.
• Territory Management: Develop and execute a strategic sales plan for the assigned territory to achieve and exceed sales targets and revenue goals.
• Client & Employee Communication: Effectively communicate project needs, job site details, and safety requirements to both clients and skilled craft employees. Assist in managing field employees by serving as a point of contact and ensuring they are successful on assignment.
• Sales Administration: Diligently log all sales activities, manage pipelines, and maintain accurate client records in our designated CRM system.
• Needs Analysis: Conduct thorough needs assessments with potential and existing clients to understand their labor requirements and provide effective staffing solutions.

Qualifications and Skills

• A minimum of 4-5 years of proven sales experience, preferably in B2B sales within the construction, industrial, or skilled labor staffing industries.
• Demonstrated track record of meeting and exceeding sales quotas.
• Must possess a valid driver’s license and reliable transportation for daily travel throughout the sales territory.
• Strong proficiency in using CRM software (e.g., Salesforce, HubSpot, etc.) and the Microsoft Office Suite.
• Excellent interpersonal, negotiation, and communication skills (both verbal and written), with the ability to engage effectively with all levels of an organization.
• Self-motivated, highly organized, and capable of working independently to manage a territory.
• Experience or familiarity with the skilled trades and construction project lifecycles is highly desirable.

Compensation

• Base Salary: Competitive annual salary in the range of $55,000 - $65,000 , commensurate with experience.
• Commission: Aggressive, uncapped commission structure with unlimited earning potential.
