Licensed Practical Nurse (LPN) - ADULT DAY CARE

Job Description Job Description Sylvia L. Poitier and Theodora S. Williams Senior Center administered by the Northwest Federated Woman's Club of Broward County Inc. has an immediate opening in Fort Lauderdale for a full-time Licensed Practical Nurse (LPN). This is a professional position responsible for assisting in the delivery of senior care through the nursing process of assessment, planning, implementation and evaluation. Position Requirements/Qualifications: * A minimum of 1 year LPN experience. * A high school diploma or equivalent AND a completed course of study leading to Florida licensure as a Licensed Practical Nurse. * Current active/clear State of Florida LPN license * BLS Certification (Required) * Must be able to demonstrate good verbal and written communication skills in the English language. * Ability to work as a member of a team. * Must pass a level 2 background screening and drug screening * Ability to utilize a computer to read/respond to emails and update client information electronically.
