We're looking for a motivated, organized, and professional individual to join our Franchise Development team as a Franchise Development Coordinator.
No franchise experience is required. We will teach you the franchise industry, our development process, and the HomeTeam system. What we're looking for is someone who enjoys working with people, communicates well, is eager to learn, and wants to build a long-term career in business development and franchise sales.
This position offers a unique opportunity to learn the franchise industry from the inside while helping aspiring business owners evaluate the opportunity to become HomeTeam franchisees. You'll work directly with prospective franchise candidates, support our Franchise Development team, and gain valuable experience in sales, recruiting, relationship management, and business development.
As you develop within the role, you'll have the opportunity to advance into a Franchise Development Representative position, managing your own candidates and earning commission in addition to your base salary.
About the Role
As a Franchise Development Coordinator, you'll serve as an important point of contact for individuals interested in learning more about franchise ownership with HomeTeam.
You'll help schedule and coordinate candidate meetings, answer questions, provide information about available territories, manage follow-up communications, and support candidates as they move through their due diligence process.
This role is ideal for someone who enjoys building relationships, staying organized, and helping people make important business decisions.
Key Responsibilities
Candidate Engagement & Communication
- Contact prospective franchise candidates who request information about HomeTeam
- Schedule introductory, discovery, and follow-up calls
- Maintain regular communication with candidates throughout the evaluation process
- Answer general questions regarding franchise ownership, available territories, and investment requirements
- Ensure candidates receive timely follow-up and a professional experience
- Build positive relationships with prospective franchise owners
Franchise Development Support
- Respond to inquiries from candidates and outside referral sources
- Assist with territory availability requests and market research
- Coordinate candidate documentation and due diligence materials
- Maintain accurate records and activity within the company's CRM system
- Track candidate progress through the franchise development process
- Support reporting, pipeline management, and departmental initiatives
Professional Development
- Learn HomeTeam's franchise system, business model, and development process
- Gain hands-on experience in franchise development and sales
- Develop the skills necessary to independently manage franchise candidates
- Prepare for advancement into a Franchise Development Representative role
Qualifications
Required
- 1-3 years of experience in customer service, inside sales, recruiting, business development, hospitality, administrative support, or a related field
- Strong verbal and written communication skills
- Excellent organizational and time-management abilities
- Professional phone presence and interpersonal skills
- Ability to prioritize multiple tasks and deadlines
- Strong attention to detail and follow-through
- Proficiency with Microsoft Office applications
Preferred
- College degree preferred, but not required
- Recent college graduates are encouraged to apply
- Experience using CRM software such as Salesforce, HubSpot, Zoho, or similar platforms
- Experience in sales support, recruiting, lead management, customer success, or business development
- Interest in entrepreneurship, franchising, sales, or small business ownership

Career Path & Growth Opportunity
This position is designed to be the first step in a long-term career within HomeTeam's Franchise Development Department.
As you learn our franchise system and demonstrate success in supporting candidates, you'll begin taking ownership of franchise leads and managing candidate relationships more directly.
Our goal is to develop this position into a Franchise Development Representative role within approximately 12 months. In that role, you'll guide candidates through the entire franchise development process—from their initial inquiry through franchise agreement signing—and become eligible for commission opportunities in addition to your base salary.
