Associate Attorney - Casualty, Professional Liability & Business Litigation Practice Group

Our Client Is a Dynamic And Well-established Civil Litigation Firm Headquartered In Downtown Los Angeles With Satellite Offices In Las Vegas, Nevada And Phoenix, Arizona. Our Client Is Hiring For The Following Open Positions Associate Attorney: 5 to 7 years of experience: Casualty, Professional Liability & Business Litigation Practice Group Must possess strong analytical, research and writing skills; be a self-starter with a commitment to providing superior service to clients, producing high-quality work product, and maintaining a teamwork atmosphere. Must be eligible to practice law in California and reside in Southern California, although the position allows for the flexibility of a hybrid workspace. Responsibilities Conduct thorough legal research using tools such as Westlaw to support case preparation. Draft pleadings, motions, and other legal documents with precision and attention to detail. Negotiate settlements and represent clients in court hearings and trials. Collaborate with senior attorneys to develop case strategies and prepare for litigation. Manage case files, ensuring all documentation is organized and up-to-date. Communicate effectively with clients to provide updates on case progress and address any concerns. Stay informed about changes in laws relevant to practice areas. Qualifications Juris Doctor (JD) degree from an accredited law school. Admission to the bar in the relevant jurisdiction (California). Strong knowledge of civil litigation processes and procedures. Proficient in legal research tools such as Westlaw. Exceptional negotiation skills with the ability to advocate effectively for clients. Strong analytical skills with a keen attention to detail. Excellent written and verbal communication skills. Ability to manage multiple cases simultaneously while meeting deadlines.
