Operating Room Circulator Registered Nurse

This temp-to-perm position places a seasoned Operating Room Circulator Registered Nurse on a 13-week contract in Grants, New Mexico, with the potential for permanent placement. The role offers up to $2,850 per week based on experience and a supportive surgical team environment.

Key Responsibilities:

• Coordinate patient care as the OR circulator, ensuring smooth flow of surgical procedures.
• Prepare the operating room by verifying equipment, instruments, and supplies are sterile and ready.
• Assist the surgical team during procedures while maintaining a sterile environment.
• Monitor patients' vital signs and condition throughout surgery and report changes.
• Advocate for patient safety, dignity, and comfort.
• Maintain accurate documentation and ensure compliance with hospital protocols.
• Communicate effectively with surgeons, anesthesia staff, scrub techs, and other team members.

Qualifications:

• Active Registered Nurse license in New Mexico (or compact license).
• AHA BLS and ACLS certifications.
• CNOR certification.
• Associate degree in Nursing.
• Minimum 1 year of recent OR circulator experience.

Preferred Skills:

• Bachelor of Science in Nursing (BSN) preferred.
