Job Title Physical Therapist Location Cottonwood, AZ | Acute Care Schedule / Job Type Contract | Days | 4x10-hour shifts, Sunday–Wednesday, 8:00 AM–6:30 PM | 40 hours/week guaranteed Key Responsibilities Provide physical therapy evaluation and treatment in a short-term acute care setting with an average daily census of 11 Manage patients requiring moderate to maximum assistance, including co-treatments and work with ventilated patients Adapt quickly to shifting priorities and pick up additional evaluations throughout the day as census demands Work within a department that operates 7 days a week, including a required weekend day May be asked to float to surrounding clinics based on skills and census needs Adhere to facility quality and patient safety standards, including medication administration protocols (BCMA); document using Cerner Required Qualifications Active Arizona Physical Therapist license — must be in hand at time of start BLS certification through the American Heart Association — required Minimum 1 year of physical therapy experience Ability to float without restrictions within the facility and to nearby affiliate locations Must be available to work 2 facility-recognized holidays during the assignment Local candidates are welcome to apply Preferred Experience / Skills Generalist background with confidence treating a broad range of medical diagnoses Experience working with ventilated patients in an acute care environment Cerner EMR experience First-time travelers are accepted Why Join Us Work at a teaching, Level IV trauma facility with free on-site parking Guaranteed 40 hours per week in a dynamic acute care environment with no on-call requirements Concentric Healthcare Staffing Job ID 775655.
