Project Accountant

We are seeking a strong Project Accountant for one of our Construction related clients located in the Irvine area. This Project Accountant position will handle all the accounting associated with the projects, including project accounting, percentage of completion, WIP, and work closely with both the Accounting Manager and the project managers to make sure the project stays on budget. Responsibilities Month‑end activities such as miscellaneous journals, project costing, project billing, AIA billing, percentage of completion, AP coding/processing, project budget analysis, balance sheet reconciliation, bank reconciliations, and supporting project managers with miscellaneous task and analysis. Qualifications Minimum 2+ years of related experience. Prior experience with GL accounting software and excellent MS Excel skills is preferable. 4‑year bachelor’s degree a plus. Fast‑paced, team‑player who can work autonomously in a stable environment. Compensation and Benefits Compensation will range DOE $85,000 to $110,000 base, plus bonus potential and strong benefits. Eligible for discretionary bonuses, medical, dental, vision, and 401(k) retirement plan.
