Assistant Property Manager

A prospect tours the community and signs a lease. A resident renews for another year. A leasing consultant hits a goal they weren't reaching three months ago. An occupancy report comes in stronger than expected. Most people see those as separate moments. An effective Assistant Property Manager understands they're all connected. We're hiring an Assistant Property Manager at RISE Sereno — someone who can help lead the day-to-day operation of the community while driving leasing performance, supporting financial goals, and developing the team around them. What This Role Really Is This isn't a back-office administrative position. And it isn't solely a leasing role. This role sits at the intersection of: Property operations Leasing and marketing Team leadership You'll partner closely with the General Manager to help ensure the community performs at a high level while creating a positive experience for both residents and prospects. What You'll Be Responsible For Supporting the General Manager with the daily operations of the community Overseeing leasing performance, prospect follow-up, and occupancy goals Training, coaching, and developing leasing team members Assisting with recruiting and interviewing leasing staff Managing leasing traffic, applications, renewals, and resident files Reviewing lease documentation for accuracy and compliance Supporting marketing initiatives, outreach efforts, and social media presence Monitoring market conditions and competitor activity Preparing occupancy, traffic, and market reports Assisting with collections, resident accounts, and financial performance Ensuring a positive experience for residents, prospects, and team members Maintaining compliance with company policies and Fair Housing requirements What We're Looking For Previous property management experience required Prior leasing leadership or supervisory experience preferred Strong customer service and sales skills Experience with Entrata or similar property management software preferred Strong communication and organizational abilities Ability to manage multiple priorities in a fast-paced environment A positive attitude and leadership mindset Why RISE Sereno This role directly impacts: Occupancy and leasing performance Resident satisfaction and retention Team development and culture The overall success of the community It's an opportunity to step beyond traditional leasing responsibilities and gain broader exposure to property operations, financial performance, and leadership.
