Operations Lead - Grand Prairie

Summary The Operations Lead will support the Supervisor in overseeing and optimizing daily operations at a luxury retail regional distribution center on the evening shift, ensuring efficient and accurate processing of high-value goods while maintaining quality, security and continuous improvement. Responsibilities Assist the supervisor with daily tasks and shift hand offs. Train, mentor and manage a team ensuring policy adherence. Assign daily work, monitor progress and adjust to meet operational demands. Oversee receiving, storage, picking, packing and shipping processes. Monitor KPIs, resolve bottlenecks and maintain quality and security standards. Serve as point of contact for brands and communicate with internal teams. Lead SOP implementation and identify process improvements using Lean and 5S. Participate in SAP EWM system checks and business projects. Maintain safety and housekeeping standards on shift. Requirements High school diploma or equivalent. 2 years of experience in operations or a similar environment. Knowledge of distribution center operations and logistics processes. Experience with warehouse management systems; SAP a strong plus. Intermediate Microsoft Office skills including Excel. Proven team leadership and communication skills. Strong attention to detail and commitment to quality. Requirements Continuous improvement mindset and problem solving ability.
