Responsibilities:

• Coordinate and oversee all shipping and receiving activities, ensuring that all products are delivered to the correct location on time.
• Prepare and process shipping documents such as invoices, packing lists, and shipping labels, ensuring accuracy and compliance with company policies and regulations.
• Collaborate with various departments to forecast shipping needs and plan accordingly.
• Maintain accurate records of all shipping and receiving activities using Excel and other relevant software.
• Resolve any shipping issues or discrepancies promptly and professionally, keeping all relevant parties informed.
• Develop and implement efficient shipping and receiving procedures to minimize errors and improve overall efficiency.
• Conduct regular inventory audits to ensure accuracy and prevent any potential issues.
• Ensure all safety guidelines are followed during the shipping and receiving process to promote a safe and healthy work environment.

Qualifications:

• A minimum of 5 years of experience in a similar role within the manufacturing industry.
• Proficient in Excel and other Microsoft Office applications.
• Strong knowledge of shipping and receiving procedures and regulations.
• Exceptional organizational skills, with the ability to manage multiple tasks and deadlines effectively.
• Excellent problem-solving skills, with a proactive approach to resolving issues.
• Strong attention to detail, with the ability to maintain accurate records.
• Excellent communication skills, with the ability to liaise effectively with various departments and external parties.
• A strong commitment to safety, demonstrating the ability to follow and enforce safe work procedures.
• A team player, with a positive attitude and the ability to work effectively in a fast-paced, dynamic environment.
