Warehouse Associate

Gibson Engineering is looking to hire a Shipping & Warehouse Associate to help keep our operations running smoothly. This role is critical to the company's shipping, receiving, and inventory management processes and helps ensure we execute customer projects & fulfill orders quickly, efficiently, and accurately. Essential Functions & Responsibilities Process daily shipping and receiving activities accurately and efficiently. Receive, verify, and stock incoming vendor shipments using SAP warehouse management system. Pick, pack, and prepare customer orders for shipment. Ensure order picking, packaging, and shipping processes consistently meet quality standards, protect products in transit, and exceed customer expectations. Perform final inspection of products prior to shipment to ensure quality and accuracy. Investigate and resolve vendor shipping discrepancies and related issues. Conduct inventory cycle counts and maintain accurate inventory records. Maintain a clean, organized, and professional warehouse and shop environment. Perform other duties and responsibilities as assigned by management. Physical Requirements Ability to lift and move materials weighing up to 75 pounds. Ability to stand, walk, bend, kneel, and perform physical tasks throughout the workday. Ability to safely operate, or learn to operate, warehouse equipment, including forklifts. Qualifications High school diploma or equivalent required; associate degree preferred. 0 to 2 years of warehouse, shipping/receiving, or inventory experience preferred. Basic computer proficiency, including Microsoft Office applications. Experience with SAP S4 Hana ERP preferred. Work Environment Work is performed in a warehouse setting that includes shipping and receiving operations, inventory storage areas, and a machine shop environment.
