PACU Nurse

Clinical Management Consultants

Build a future where meaningful patient care, supportive leadership, professional growth, and an outdoor lifestyle in Central Montana come together. This PACU Nurse opportunity is open to new graduates as well as experienced nurses looking to grow their perioperative skills in a collaborative hospital environment. The Pre and Post Anesthesia Care Nurse provides patient-centered care throughout the perioperative journey, from pre-operative preparation and assessment through post-anesthesia recovery and safe transitions to the next level of care. Nurses work alongside an interdisciplinary team, using clinical judgment, effective communication, and technology-supported workflows to deliver safe, attentive care to surgical patients and their families. In this role, the PACU Nurse completes pre-operative assessments as assigned, monitors patients following anesthesia, manages pain and nausea, recognizes changes in condition, and implements appropriate nursing interventions. Responsibilities also include documenting care, educating patients, coordinating handoffs, and supporting infection prevention, quality improvement, and regulatory standards. Collaboration with anesthesia professionals, surgeons, and other clinical team members helps ensure safe recovery and continuity of care. This position offers opportunities to continue developing perioperative expertise through ongoing education, specialty certification preparation, cross-training, and quality improvement initiatives. New graduates can build a strong clinical foundation, while experienced nurses can expand their skills through mentoring, precepting, and participation in patient safety and workflow improvements. Future opportunities in charge nursing, education, or leadership may also be available as the nurse gains experience. Living and working in Central Montana offers access to hiking, biking, fishing, river recreation, skiing, and weekend trips to nearby mountain communities and national parks. The area offers a more relaxed pace of life, community connections, and four distinct seasons, with cold winters and changing weather to consider. For those who enjoy the outdoors, the region provides plenty of opportunities to explore Montana beyond the workplace. This PACU Nurse opportunity offers competitive compensation and a comprehensive benefits package to support professional and personal wellbeing, with additional details available during the recruitment process. #J-18808-Ljbffr Clinical Management Consultants
