Lead Analytics Consultant

About this role:Wells Fargo is seeking a Lead Analytics Consultant to work on a variety of Data Engineering projects in support of Marketing Science operations. Successful candidates should be able to demonstrate competency in managing and curating complex data into usable forms for subsequent consumption in analytics and visualization use cases. Skills such as SQL, Python, and BigQuery are particularly valuable.In this role, you will:Consult, review and research moderate to complex business, operational, and technical challenges that require an in-depth evaluation of data pipelines, data quality, and business stakeholder requirements.Perform moderate to complex data analysis to support business stakeholders and assist with strategic marketing initiativesDevelop a deep understanding of technical systems and business processes to extract data driven insights while identifying opportunities for engineering enhancementsLead technical discussions and participate on cross-functional teams and projectsCollaborate and consult with peers, colleagues, and mid-level managers to resolve issues and achieve goalsEnsure quality of data products through developing appropriate controls and checks for data anomaliesAdhere to compliance and risk management requirements in work processes.Work with cloud technology such as BigQuery in GCP and set up scheduling and automation.Required Qualifications:5+ years of Analytics experience, or equivalent demonstrated through one or a combination of the following: work experience, training, military experience, educationDesired Qualifications:Experience with Google Cloud Platform / BigQuery, Python, SAS, Tableau, Alteryx, and Power BI Prior Marketing experience in financial services is a plusData engineering experienceExperience evaluating and improving data pipelines, including identifying data quality issues, and implementing fixesStrong data quality management skills, including building controls, validation checks, and monitoring for anomaliesProven ability to translate business requirements into technical data solutions and analytical outputsExperience working with large, complex datasets to support business decision-making and marketing strategyAbility to identify and drive data engineering enhancements or process improvementsExperience leading or facilitating technical discussions across cross-functional teamsStrong stakeholder management skills, including working with mid-level managers to resolve issues and align on prioritiesKnowledge of compliance and risk management considerations when working with data in a regulated environmentAbility to document data processes, lineage, and business logic clearly for both technical and non-technical audiencesDemonstrated ownership of end-to-end data or analytics initiativesJob Expectations:Ability to travel up to 10% of the time.This position offers a hybrid work schedule.Must reside within a commutable distance from workThis position is not eligible for Visa sponsorship.Relocation assistance is not available for this positionPosting End Date: 5 Oct 2026*Job posting may come down early due to volume of applicants.We Value Equal OpportunityWells Fargo is an equal opportunity employer.
