Wage: $20/hour

Shift: 1st

Hours: 7:30am-4pm

Qps Employment Group is hiring a Shipping/Receiving Coordinator for a company in Waukegan, IL. This is an associate to hire opportunity.

Shipping/Receiving Coordinator Responsibilities Include But Are Not Limited To:

• Prepare daily outbound orders
• Prepare and print shipping labels corresponding to shipping needs
• Audit and file inbound and outbound documents
• Process orders based on the customers' preferred shipping system. (e.g., UPS, FedEx, etc.)
• Contact carriers and schedule shipping
• Maintain a clean and safe work area
• Perform other duties as required
• Load / unload trailers
• Print and sort all Bills of Lading (BOLs) for every order that is loaded on the trailer and obtain signatures on the BOLs
• Obtain and process product orders, including receiving deliveries and distributing packages and letters within the company
• Schedule LTL shipments and plan logistics to ensure that there is sufficient storage space for incoming items and staff on hand to manage the shipments
• Keep files of goods shipped and received by preparing regular shipping and receiving reports for managers
• Manage issues in shipping or receiving
• Troubleshoot shipping issues and customer complaints as needed
• Place merchandise in the inbound receiving location
• Utilize electric hand jack or pallet rider as needed
• Effectively collaborate with your team to increase production
• Interact with customers, couriers, drivers, and other employees in a professional manner
• Communicate with immediate supervisor and/or manager when needed
• Successfully able to manage time wisely
• Technical capacity
• Follow standard work methods
• Practice safe work habits to ensure production is as efficient and safe as possible
• Help identify cost/time-saving measures to increase production

Shipping/Receiving Coordinator Requirements:

- Knowledge of Microsoft Excel

- Computer skills

- Frequently stand, walk, use hands, and reach with hands and arms

- Must successfully lift to 25 pounds

- Attention to detail
