Emergency Department Registered Nurse

West Allis Medical Center is a level 4 Trauma, Primary Stroke, Geriatric Certified Emergency Department that averages around 42,000 visits per year. Staff provide care for adult and pediatric patients experiencing the following: acute trauma with injury, acute illnesses, and exacerbations of chronic health care conditions, women's health issues, and behavioral health concerns. Licensure, Registration, and/or Certification Required:

• Registered Nurse license issued by the state in which the team member practices, and
• Basic Life Support (BLS) for Healthcare Providers certification issued by the American Heart Association (AHA).

Education Required:

• Completion of an accredited or approved program in Nursing.

Experience Required:

• One year RN experience preferred or candidates with prior emergency medical services health care experience.
