Medical Surgical Unit - Travel Registered Nurse- $2250 per week.

Shift: 7:30 PM - 8:00 AM

Experience:

• 12 months of experience with 3 months worked in the last 12 months.

• 24 months of Medical Surgical Unit experience worked in the last 12 months.

• 3 months of Epic experience is preferred.

• ADN completion required.

Requirements:

• Candidates must have a New York license (required for submission).

• COVID vaccination required after submission. Declinations not accepted.

• 12 months gap required between for Staff at Program: RightSourcing Program - NYC Health & Hospital and no current placement allowed at Program: RightSourcing Program - NYC Health & Hospital.

Required Skills/Experience: - Physical assessment. - Medication administration. - Wound care and infection control. - IV therapy. - Post-operative care. - Patient education. - Telemetry monitoring.

Required Credentials: - Must have NYS Nursing License Registration and NYS copy of physical license/diploma for submission. - Associates Degree in Nursing from an accredited educational institute. - Individual professional liability coverage is mandatory for the assignment duration. Only individual malpractice insurance is accepted by the facility.

Special Requests: - All time off and special requests should be discussed directly with managers upon arrival; no pre-approval. - Clinicians must start assignments within 30 days of receiving an offer.

Unit Details: - Direct bedside nursing care for pre- and post-surgery patients.

Shift & Scheduling: - No call. - Overtime not allowed at NYCHH facilities; written manager approval is required in rare cases.
