Become a Us Foods® Driver!Ready to build a career with a company that's leading the foodservice industry?US Foods is one of the largest food distributors with a culture and history of promoting from within, excellent training programs and a continuous improvement focus.We Help YOU Make It!$15,000 RETENTION BONUS FOR ELIGIBLE NEW HIRES!Our Delivery Drivers start at: $31.19 per hourIncreased to $36.71 per hour once training is successfully completedBenefits include:401k with 2% automatic company contribution plus company match up to an additional 6%Benefits Start Day 1Home NightlyPaid vacation time, sick/personal timeStrong Safety Culture, newer equipment, and excellent local leadershipUniforms providedUp to $10,000 employee referral bonus for qualified new driver referralsWeekly payDriver Schedule:Monday through Saturday - (Potential for flexible 5 day or 4 day work weeks, available based on business needs)Drivers dispatch between 3:00 AM - 7:00 AM, depending on route and schedule, until completion.Main Ingredients of the Job:Safely drive trucks to customers and meet scheduled customer delivery timesCarefully unload products from the trailer with a two-wheeler, pallet jack, or by hand and place in designated customer storage areasVerify accuracy of delivery with customers and obtain proper signaturesHandle collections and payments from customers when applicableProfessionally perform customer service responsibilities to enhance our client experiencePerform all pre-trip and post-trip equipment inspectionPhysical Requirements:Ability to lift/carry/push/pull 20 to 80+ lbs. of product repetitively during each shift requiredComfortable driving and working in inclement weather conditions with frequent stops (10+ per shift) requiredWhat You Bring to the Table:Register to the FMCSA Clearinghouse*Must be at least 21 years of ageMust have valid CDL Class A issued by the state of legal residence with necessary endorsements and DOT qualificationsMinimum of six months commercial driving experience (any industry) OR three months commercial driving experience in the food and/or beverage delivery industry requiredMust be able to read and communicate in the English language - able to hold a conversation, to understand highway traffic signs and signals, to respond to official inquiries, and to enter information on reports and records.Why US Foods:US Foods® helps our customers Make It, with products and services that shape the communities where we live and work. The expected base rate for this role is between $31.19 and $36.71.
