UNC Health Respiratory Therapists UNC Health, located in North Carolina, is hiring Respiratory Therapists to join our Adult and Pediatric care teams. We offer opportunities for new graduate and experienced Respiratory Therapists. Opportunities are available at the following hospitals: UNC Health Caldwell - Lenoir, NC UNC Health Chatham - Siler City, NC UNC Health Johnston - Smithfield, NC UNC Medical Center - Chapel Hill, NC UNC Health Rex & Rex Holly Springs - Raleigh & Holly Springs, NC Incentives: Full‑time positions are eligible for up to $20,000 in commitment incentives and up to $10,000 in relocation assistance (amount based on location distance). Salary Range: $28.87 - $44.62 per hour (Hiring Range). Pay offers are determined by experience and internal equity. Hours: Per Diem and Full‑time opportunities are available. Summary: Under the direction of department management and according to policies and procedures as defined in the Department Policy and Procedure Manuals, administer respiratory care procedures and treatments designed to assess, prevent, stabilize or remedy patients' respiratory dysfunction. After completion of orientation, functions independently with minimal supervision. Education Requirements: Graduation from an accredited Respiratory Therapy program. Licensure/Certification Requirements: Licensed as a Respiratory Care Practitioner by the North Carolina Respiratory Care Board and registry eligible by the National Board of Respiratory Care (CRT or RRT). Must be registered (CRT or RRT) within 6 months of hire. BLS on hire. Professional Experience Requirements: Respiratory Therapist I: No prior experience required.
