Start Technician

Position Summary The Seasonal Start Technician is responsible for delivering a 5-star customer experience to new customers by performing initial pest control services, including the application of chemicals and manual treatment methods to eliminate pest activity. The role requires maintaining accurate service records, managing routes, and ensuring equipment and safety gear are in proper working condition. Responsibilities Perform thorough indoor and outdoor initial pest control treatments for new customers, ensuring accuracy and attention to detail. Engage with customers to clearly explain service features and benefits while delivering exceptional customer service and support. Follow assigned routes, communicate effectively with office staff and managers, and maintain accurate service records. Maintain equipment, vehicle, and safety gear in proper working condition. Use technology to manage appointments and customer information. Qualifications and Requirements 1+ years of customer service experience preferred. Must be 21 years of age or older. Possess a valid driver’s license and have at least 3 consecutive years of driving history, as driving a company vehicle is an essential function. Earn and maintain state-required training and pest control licensing if applicable (provided). Benefits Hourly base pay of $18.00, plus additional compensation opportunities. Requires clear vision for both close and distant tasks, with adjustable focus. Must be able to stand for long periods, perform physical tasks, and manage repetitive motions. Exposure to pesticides, chemicals, pests, mold, allergens, and structural hazards; safety gear required. Moderate noise level in the work environment.
