Obtain and record research data with physicians and team members; enroll study subjects, interview subjects, review medical records, assist with nursing aspects of research, and complete data collection tools. Establish and maintain effective working relationships with patients, families, professional groups, volunteers, and public agencies involved in research. Determine eligibility of participants, obtain informed consent, enroll patients, and coordinate all aspects of their care. Explain research protocol to participants, answer inquiries, schedule participation, ensure compliance, and inform referring physicians of protocol requirements. Collect, record, organize, transcribe, and verify accuracy of research data; coordinate data collection and create data tools using applications such as REDCap. Assist with Institutional Review Board submissions, and communicate with sponsors, auditors, monitoring agencies, and IRB in a timely, accurate manner. Perform other duties as necessary. Coverage: Alachua, Bradford, Gilchrist, and Union counties. Requires reliable transportation and willingness to drive up to one hour between clinical locations on weekdays. Some work may be in person or via telehealth. Requirements Graduate of a nationally accredited nursing program with four years of professional nursing experience. Licensed as a registered nurse in compliance with Chapter 464, Florida Statutes. Preferred Qualifications Strong written and oral communication skills. 3+ years of experience in obstetrics and/or research, specifically in patient recruitment, performing research studies, follow‑up visits, and maintenance of study records.
