Cardiology Physician

Position Overview Seeking a Board-Certified Cardiologist for a remote clinical trial support opportunity focused on centralized ECG interpretation and regulatory-compliant review processes. This role offers flexible telehealth scheduling while supporting a Boston-based clinical research program. Schedule Remote/telehealth opportunity Monday Friday coverage required Flexible workload averaging hours per week No call responsibilities Clinical Responsibilities Centralized review and interpretation of protocol-specific ECGs for regulated clinical trials Evaluate ECG parameters including: Heart rate PR interval QRS duration QT/QTc measurements Identify abnormalities including: Arrhythmias Conduction abnormalities QT prolongation Ischemic changes Escalate clinically significant findings according to study protocol timelines Ensure consistency and adherence to standardized interpretation methodologies Preferred Experience Prior centralized ECG review or clinical trials experience preferred Familiarity with clinical trial workflows and electronic ECG systems Understanding of: ALCOA principles ICH E6 (GCP) ICH E14 (QT/QTc evaluation) FDA/EMA safety expectations and audit requirements Requirements Board-Certified Cardiologist required Active medical license in at least one state required Minimum 1 year of experience required Credentialing Fast credentialing timeline of approximately 2 weeks Additional Highlights Fully remote opportunity with flexible weekly hours Ideal supplemental assignment for providers seeking non-clinical bedside work Long-term clinical research exposure within a highly regulated environment
