Respiratory Therapist - RRT

Location 100 Grand Street, New Britain, CT 10126 Shift Every third weekend and every third holiday. Responsibilities Provide respiratory care to patients with minimal guidance. Perform therapy, management, rehabilitation, diagnostic evaluation, and care for patients with cardiopulmonary deficiencies or abnormalities. Administer oxygen and other medical gases, aerosolized medications, positive pressure breathing devices, ventilators, and resuscitation devices. Perform pulmonary diagnostic procedures and assessments. Apply principles of growth and development to assess individual age‑specific needs and deliver individualized treatments. Demonstrate efficiency across clinical/critical care settings; communicate and collaborate with the healthcare team. Qualifications Associate’s degree required; bachelor’s degree preferred from an AMA‑approved respiratory program. Connecticut state license required. Ability to function as a self‑directed team member. Willingness to participate in additional training and certifications to work in specialized clinical areas.
