Located in Dennis, New Jersey, Autumn Lake at Oceanview is a renowned nursing center nestled between Atlantic City and the picturesque Cape May, just minutes away from local hospitals. Our team is committed to providing exceptional care and support to our residents and patients, and we're seeking a skilled and dedicated Maintenance Assistant to join our facilities team.
Responsibilities:
- Perform routine maintenance tasks to ensure the upkeep and repair of our facility's building, grounds, and equipment
- Conduct preventive maintenance and repairs on plumbing, electrical, and HVAC systems
- Respond to resident and staff requests for maintenance assistance in a timely and courteous manner
- Collaborate with our facilities team to plan and implement maintenance projects and repairs
- Maintain accurate records of maintenance activities and work performed
Requirements:
- High school diploma or equivalent required
- Prior maintenance or facilities experience preferred
- Strong problem-solving and troubleshooting skills
- Ability to lift up to 50 pounds and work at heights
