Engagement Leader / Client Partner - Investment Management (New York)

About the Role

We are hiring a Sr. Director – Analytics to lead client-facing data, analytics, and AI/GenAI engagements within the investment management (buy-side) domain .

This is NOT a pure technical or internal product role .

We are specifically looking for leaders who can own client relationships, drive analytics solutioning, and contribute to account growth .

MUST-HAVE (Applications without this will NOT be considered)

• Direct experience in Investment / Asset / Wealth Management (buy-side)
• Experience leading analytics / AI / data engagements (not just PMO or reporting)
• Strong client-facing experience (CXO interaction, stakeholder management)
• Proven involvement in account growth / pre-sales (proposals, SOWs, deal shaping)
• Experience working in consulting environments OR managing external client engagements
• Act as a trusted advisor to senior stakeholders and CXOs
• Lead end-to-end delivery of analytics, data, and AI/GenAI programs
• Drive solutioning across portfolio analytics, risk, or investment data use cases
• Own client engagement, delivery, and stakeholder communication
• Contribute to account expansion, pre-sales, and revenue growth initiatives
• Collaborate with cross-functional teams across data engineering, analytics, and AI

✅ Required Experience

• 12–17 years of experience in analytics / data consulting / AI programs
• Strong background in investment management (asset managers, hedge funds, wealth firms)
• Proven track record in client-facing delivery and business impact
• Experience with analytics, AI/ML, or GenAI solutions
• Exposure to cloud platforms (AWS / Azure / GCP) and modern data ecosystems
• Primarily a product / internal platform leader (non-client facing)
• Focused on marketing analytics / customer analytics
• From pure banking (retail/commercial) without investment domain
• A PMO / program governance / reporting-focused profile
• A finance/accounting leader without analytics/AI experience
