As part of the RSB team, the Regulatory Support Student intern provides mission-critical paraprofessional support for the business processes of the Regulation Division in permitting, post-permitting and compliance enforcement within statutorily mandated and District-established timeframes. Specific tasks include, but are not limited to: processing of permit-related information, processing documents using a variety of computer applications, data management, document imaging and ensuring documents are electronic records compliant. This internship opportunity is not eligible for remote work; all work will be conducted in the District\'s Bartow, FL office. Performs continuous repetitive tasks (to include keyboarding) with one or both hands. Occasionally lifts and carries objects up to 10 pounds. Occasionally requires bending and reaching above shoulder level. May spend time out in the field in remote areas. Possible travel to other offices. Required Credentials For Regulatory Support Student Intern High School Diploma (or equivalent) Be at least part-time current enrollment in an accredited college, university, or other recognized educational or vocational program Maintain a minimum GPA of 2.5 for undergraduate students or minimum GPA of 3.0 for graduate students Provide a copy of Official school transcript within 30 days of employment Valid driver’s license Preferred Credentials For Support Student Intern Organized, strong written and verbal communication skills, takes initiative, and basic proficiency with Microsoft Office.
