Field Service Engineer (Mechanical & Electrical)

This role involves significant travel (up to 60% overnight and 80% including local) across the U.S., Canada, and Puerto Rico to support the startup, troubleshooting, maintenance, and customer support of our industry-leading process systems.Like the look of this opportunity Make sure to apply fast, as a high volume of applications is expected Scroll down to read the complete job description.Responsibilities:Perform on-site engineering services: FATs, commissioning, training, validation, troubleshooting, and warranty support.Support installation of electrical/mechanical components and retrofits; provide instructional documents as needed.Troubleshoot and resolve electrical, mechanical, and control issues.Act as on-site liaison between Glatt and the customer, communicating scope changes and project updates.Document service activities: protocols, checklists, trip reports, drawing markups.Support rebuilds, preventive maintenance, and safety evaluations.Provide feedback to the Process Automation team for continuous improvement.Offer remote technical support to customers.Collaborate with project managers and internal departments throughout the project lifecycle.Maintain high service standards and strong interpersonal relationships with customers and global teams. xhyhwjd QualificationsBachelor's or associate degree in engineering or 5+ years of relevant experience.Experience with Hydraulics, pneumatics, AC/DC systemsExperience with hand tools, basic welding/metalworkingExperience with Psychometrics, VFDs, Allen Bradley PLC ladder logicControl system documentation (P&IDs, schematics, panel layouts)Familiarity with NFPA, NEC, and NEMA standardsProficiency with Microsoft Windows, Office, Access, and/or SQL ServerValid driver's license required
