Accounting Manager

Industry: Manufacturing Location: In-Office Job Description Our client is seeking an experienced Accounting Manager to lead accounting operations and financial reporting for a manufacturing environment. This role plays a critical part in ensuring accurate financial reporting, supporting executive decision-making, and overseeing daily accounting activities. This is an on-site position and the successful candidate will work closely with senior leadership while managing a small accounting team. Responsibilities Oversee all accounting functions, including Accounts Payable, Accounts Receivable, cash management, inventory, and payroll Prepare, review, and analyze monthly financial statements, budgets, and forecasts Communicate financial results and operational insights to executive leadership Support business planning activities and ensure financial consistency with approved plans Develop and implement accounting procedures to improve efficiency and internal controls Provide timely financial status updates to management Coordinate year-end financial reviews with external CPA firms Prepare reports required by regulatory agencies Manage daily cash flow and support special projects as needed Ensure compliance with company safety and health policies Required Qualifications Bachelor’s degree in Accounting, Finance, Business, or a related field (or equivalent combination of education and experience) 5–7 years of accounting and financial reporting experience Prior supervisory or team leadership experience Manufacturing and/or cost accounting experience preferred Strong proficiency in Microsoft Excel and Word Experience with ERP systems; Plex experience is a plus CPA certification is beneficial Strong analytical, communication, and problem-solving skills Physical & Travel Requirements: Ability to sit for extended periods and work at a computer for several hours per day Occasionally required to stand, walk, bend, or lift up to 25 pounds Occasional exposure to plant environments with high noise levels and elevated temperatures Occasional travel may be required #J-18808-Ljbffr Pasona N A, Inc.
