Cardiac Sonographer Pediatrics Duration: 12 weeks Shift: Rotating Hours per Shift: 5 x 8-Hour (08:00 - 16:30; 16:30 - 08:30) Experience: Minimum of 2 years of relevant experience required License: Active license required Certifications: ARDMS, ARDMS RDCS AE, ARDMS RDCS PE, BLS Must-Have: Candidates must have previous charge experience. Experience in a pediatric cardiac setting is preferred. Experience with the Epic charting system is required.

Description: The Pediatric Cardiac Sonographer will perform echocardiograms on patients ranging from neonates to adults. The role involves evaluating patients with congenital and acquired pediatric cardiac diseases. This position requires rotating shifts, with 40 hours scheduled each week. Candidates must possess the necessary certifications for this specialty. On-call duty is required approximately once every 8 weeks. The sonographer will float within the specialty area and may be required to assist other units as needed. Scrub colors will be provided for OR, and any pediatric-type scrubs may be worn for non-OR tasks. Availability for holiday shifts as scheduled is required. Candidates must be comfortable with standard pediatric cardiac procedures and demonstrate proficiency in various imaging techniques. Travelers must comply with facility-specific requirements and guidelines. Two professional references are needed from recent employers, including one from a supervisor or manager. Local candidates must reside over 50 miles from the facility.
