About the Position

Job Title: Registered Nurse Profession: Nursing Specialty: Labor and Delivery Duration: 12 weeks Shift: Night Hours per Shift: 12 Experience: Minimum 2 years License: Required Certifications: ACLS, AWHONN Intermediate, BCLS, NRP Must-Have: - Previous experience in Labor and Delivery - Ability to float between different facilities as needed Description: L&D Nurse needed for night shifts. The position requires working 3x12 hour shifts. We follow staffing ratios as per guidelines, which vary during different stages of labor. Postpartum ratios are 1:3-4 couplets. Experience in both recovery and postpartum is necessary. Candidates with LDRP experience are preferred. The patient population includes pregnant women and infants. A Level IIE nursery is available to support high-risk pregnancies. Weekend shifts are required every other weekend. No on-call requirements for this position. Travelers must demonstrate flexibility and be willing to float when needed. Certifications must be updated every two years. Compliance requirements must be met prior to orientation.
