Job DescriptionJob DescriptionAbout the Role:Lifetime Family Medicine LLC is looking for a dedicated and compassionate Medical Assistant to join our outpatient family practice team in Gainesville, VA. This is a fantastic opportunity to make a real difference in patients' lives while growing your clinical career in a supportive, patient-centered environment.Responsibilities:Room patients and record vital signs, medical histories, and chief complaintsAssist physicians and providers with examinations and outpatient proceduresAdminister injections, vaccinations, and perform phlebotomy as directedManage and document accurate patient records using EHR/EMR systems (Athena Health)Prepare and sterilize exam rooms and medical equipment between patient visitsCoordinate referrals, prior authorizations, and patient follow-up communicationsEducate patients on treatment plans, medications, and preventive care instructionsRequirements:Certified Medical Assistant (CMA) or Registered Medical Assistant (RMA)Prior experience in a family practice or outpatient clinical setting preferredProficiency with EHR/EMR platforms (Athena Health preferred) and general clinical documentationStrong clinical skills including injections and vital signsExcellent communication and interpersonal skills with a patient-first attitudeAbility to multitask effectively in a fast-paced outpatient environmentCPR/BLS certification required or ability to obtain upon hireAbout Us:Lifetime Family Medicine LLC is a trusted family practice serving the Gainesville, VA community with comprehensive, personalized healthcare for patients of all ages.
