Description
We are seeking a reliable Field Service Technician based in Simpsonville, SC for a nationwide travel role. You will operate a company-provided, late-model full-sized work van to service, calibrate, and troubleshoot liquid-handling and instrumentation systems at customer sites. This position requires an independent problem solver who balances strong technical execution with excellent customer service.
Key Responsibilities
- Calibration: Verify and calibrate liquid flow meters and tank inventory equipment (sensors, panel meters).
- Maintenance & Repair: Troubleshoot liquid batching equipment.
- Mechanical Work: Replace mechanical components including pumps, relief valves, and check valves. (Typically 2" and smaller.)
- Reporting: Complete accurate, timely service reports for all completed field work.
- Customer Relations: Serve as the on-site representative of the company, building and maintaining positive client relationships.
Job Requirements
- Driving Record: Valid driver’s license with a clean driving history.
- Health: Ability to successfully pass a Department of Transportation (DOT) physical and be drug free.
- Professionalism: Maintain a professional appearance and wear the company-provided uniform.
Schedule & Travel Logistics
- National Travel: 100% nationwide travel.
- Rotation: On the road for ~1.5 weeks, followed by ~3 days at home.
- Home Base: Must reside within commuting distance of Simpsonville, SC.
- Daily Per Diem: $50 per day paid in advance for meals.
- Lodging Allowance: $110 per day budgeted for hotel expenses.
