QA/QC - Austin, TX

Acuren is currently recruiting for a QA/QC role to support our operations in Austin, TX. The Quality Assurance and Quality Control professional reviews all field reports from technicians prior to submission to clients. This position requires strong analytical and critical thinking skills to ensure that all client Pipeline Integrity Procedures have been adhered to and that all client‑specific reporting requirements have been met before the final report is submitted. Skills Knowledge of NDT industry methods (MT, PT, UT) Knowledge of client‑specific reporting needs Knowledge of inline inspection data (tool data that travels through pipelines) is a plus Coating and cathodic protection knowledge is a plus MS Office (Word, Excel, Outlook, PowerPoint) Industry software (e.g., Creaform Pipecheck) Technical writing skills Effective verbal communication skills Strong attention to detail to identify numerical and visual anomalies Education High school diploma or equivalent, with a minimum of 3 years of experience in a quality review capacity. An associate’s or bachelor’s degree is preferred. Working Conditions Extreme cold and extreme heat environmental conditions; proximity to moving mechanical parts, moving vehicles, electrical current; work on scaffolding and high places in excess of 100 feet; exposure to high heat, extreme cold, chemicals, fumes, odors, dust, mists, gases, or poor ventilation; adaptable to changing schedules with willingness to travel regularly, including last‑minute and overnight travel; overtime required.
