2nd Shift Tig / Mig Welder – Class B

Location: Strafford, MO Shift: 2nd Shift Monday-Thursday 3:30pm-1:30am Pay: $20-22/hr + $2/hr shift differential

Job Summary

We are seeking a dependable Class B welder to support production through high-quality tig and mig welding. This role is ideal for welders with six months or more of experience who value attendance, safety, and craftsmanship.

Essential Responsibilities

• Perform tig and mig welding to production standards
• Tack weld efficiently; grind when required
• Work across multiple welding positions, including welding, tacking, stud, and bung welds
• Read and interpret blueprints and part lists
• Accurately measure using a tape measure
• Safely operate shop tools and equipment
• Follow all PPE and safety requirements
• Stand for the entire shift and lift up to 50 lbs

Qualifications

• Minimum 6 months MIG welding experience or trade school training
• Tig welding experience preferred
• Strong attention to detail and focus on quality
• Reliable and dependable attendance is required
• Ability to problem-solve and work well with a team

Education

• High school diploma or GED preferred, not required

Physical Requirements

• Ability to stand and walk for extended periods
• Frequent use of hands and arms
• Lift up to 50 pounds
• Must have close, distance, color, and depth vision
