Make a meaningful impact supporting elementary students as an Occupational Therapist in an engaging, contract-based setting. This full-time opportunity offers 37.5 hours each week, working across two elementary schools. You’ll also lend your expertise by supervising a dedicated OTA who serves another nearby school. The collective caseload encompasses about 62 students, with the OTA working with many of these students two to two and a half days each week. This position is ideal for those who are passionate about fostering independence and success for young learners while collaborating closely with fellow professionals.

Your skills in school-based occupational therapy will help shape a positive, accessible learning environment. This contract role may offer renewal potential for the right individual who demonstrates a good fit with the team and student needs.

Qualifications & Experience Sought:

• Valid licensure and credentials to practice as an Occupational Therapist
• Experience in a school setting, preferably supporting elementary-aged students
• Previous supervisory experience or readiness to mentor an OTA
• Strong communication, organizational, and documentation skills
• Ability to collaborate effectively with educators, staff, families, and fellow therapists

Key Responsibilities:

• Deliver direct OT services to students as outlined in their educational plans
• Conduct assessments, develop interventions, and monitor progress
• Supervise and support the activities of an experienced OTA
• Maintain timely, thorough records and participate in IEP meetings
• Contribute to a positive, constructive team environment
