Lead Data Architect

Leading the data architecture for a multi-disciplinary, agile team, the full-time remote Lead Data Architect will design and enhance an enterprise federal acquisition system, ensuring data integrity, compliance, and efficient integration with other federal systems. Key responsibilities Own and manage the system's data architecture, including logical and physical data models and data dictionaries Design and evolve transactional and analytical data stores while maintaining data quality and performance Architect data integrations with federal systems and lead data modernization planning, including migration strategies Required qualifications Bachelor's degree in Computer Science or a related field, or equivalent experience 10+ years of experience in data architecture, data engineering, or database design for enterprise systems Deep experience with relational data modeling and PostgreSQL in production environments Experience with analytical data stores and architecting data integrations through APIs or web services Strong understanding of data quality, governance, and security practices, along with hands-on experience in AWS
