What you will have an opportunity to do:

BASIC FUNCTION: The Senior Kitchen Tech will perform and/or oversee the preventive maintenance and repairs of existing equipment as well as consider, plan and execute upgrades and new installations of kitchen equipment. 

• Status: Full-Time

• Availability: Full Availability

• Payrate: $26 to $32 per hour

• Location: Benchmark Hospitality at Deloitte University Hotel & Training Center

ESSENTIAL FUNCTIONS:

• Maintain all kitchen equipment according to the manufacturer’s recommendations, including proactive scheduled maintenance and reactive repairs. 

• Responsible for correct use of maintenance request and preventive maintenance system.  Training provided.

• Coach and mentor other technicians, providing them with knowledge and experience to help enhance their skills.

• Maintain a safe, clean and efficient workspace.  Responsible for maintaining inventory of tools in use.

• Work in a safe manner including proper use of PPE and following safety protocols.

• Assist with maintenance requests for other trades, as needed.

What are we looking for?

QUALIFICATIONS:

• Four years’ experience in kitchen equipment repair and maintenance.

• Highly skilled in electrical and mechanical controls.

• Strong ability to utilize all aspects of an electrical multi meter.

• Ability to read and interpret electrical schematic drawings.

• Ability to read and interpret mechanical diagrams.

• Skilled with using tools required in this trade.

• Texas Driver’s License with good driving record preferred.
