About the Position

Job Title: Registered Nurse Profession: Registered Nurse Specialty: Medical Surgical/Telemetry Duration: 13 Weeks Shift: Night Hours per Shift: 12 Experience: Minimum of 1 year of recent experience License: WI/Compact License (pending allowed with submission) Certifications: BLS, NIHSS (pending allowed with submission) Must-Have: - Ability to interpret and sign off telemetry strips - References required from previous supervisors Description: Start date is flexible. Position requires shifts of 3 nights per week. Every other weekend commitment is expected. Floating to IMCU may be required based on needs. Candidate must have recent experience in a similar setting. Ability to interpret telemetry is essential. BLS and NIHSS certifications must be current. Two supervisor references are required for submission. One reference must be from the current or most recent assignment. The second reference is required within one week of the start date. Travelers accepted but need to have separated from previous roles for at least 1 year. Candidates must not have latex allergies. Module completion is generally completed during orientation. Modules average 3 to 4 hours in length. Module time is non-billable if completed within the first hours of orientation. Candidates should be prepared for a daily patient census of around 82. Experience with Epic charting system is preferred. Position will involve working with adults and geriatric patients. Additional support will include interdisciplinary teams such as IV teams and respiratory services. Flexible scheduling may be negotiated for candidates.
