Registered Nurse - Mother Baby / Postpartum

Job Summary:

Provide specialized postpartum nursing care to new mothers and their infants in a dynamic healthcare setting. Ensure the well-being of patients through compassionate and professional nursing practices during their Mother/Baby stay.

Responsibilities:

• 
  Assess and monitor postpartum patients and newborns to ensure maternal and infant health.
  
  
• 
  Administer prescribed medications and treatments accurately and efficiently.
  
  
• 
  Educate new mothers on newborn care, breastfeeding, and postpartum recovery.
  
  
• 
  Collaborate with healthcare teams to develop and implement individualized care plans.
  
  
• 
  Document patient information comprehensively and maintain accurate medical records.
  
  

Qualifications:

• 
  Hold an active RN license in Texas or the applicable state.
  
  
• 
  Demonstrate a minimum of 1 year of experience in postpartum or Mother/Baby nursing.
  
  
• 
  Exhibit strong clinical assessment and patient care skills.
  
  
• 
  Communicate effectively with patients, families, and healthcare team members.
  
  
• 
  Adapt to flexible shifts, including overnight hours.
