Radiation Therapist - Travel Job

What You'll Need:


• Associate or Bachelor's degree in Radiation Therapy from an accredited program


• AART Certification in Radiation Therapy


• Valid Radiation Therapy state license, if required


• 2 years' experience as a radiation therapist


• BLS


• Radiotherapy Technologist (ARRT-T)


• Proficiency with Varian Truebeam Linear Accelerators

Assignment Details

• Shift hours: 0800 - 2000.
• Standard schedule: 40 hours per week.
• Potential float to other Radiation Therapy sites in the greater Charlotte area.
• Outpatient cancer clinic setting.
• Treats approximately 60 to 100 patients per day across 3 machines.

Freedom Park is about 4 miles from central Charlotte, and Lake Norman is roughly 20 miles north, offering walking trails, boating, and waterfront dining. The city also provides access to cultural destinations such as the Mint Museum Uptown and NASCAR Hall of Fame, both located near the center city. For weekend travel, Crowders Mountain State Park is about 30 miles west, and the Blue Ridge Mountains can be reached in roughly 2 to 3 hours by car.
