Bartender

B8KR PIZZA is looking for experienced, energetic and hospitality-driven Bartenders to join our opening team at Skatebird Miami.

Our bar is designed to complement the B8KR experience: great pizza, soft serve, cocktails, beer and wine served in a fun, casual and high-energy environment. We’re looking for bartenders who can make a great drink, move efficiently when it gets busy and—most importantly—make guests want to come back.

• Prepare and serve cocktails, beer, wine and non-alcoholic beverages accurately and efficiently
• Follow B8KR cocktail recipes, specs, batching procedures and presentation standards
• Provide friendly, attentive and genuine hospitality to every guest
• Take food and beverage orders and accurately enter orders through the POS system
• Maintain proper bar setup, stocking, organization and cleanliness throughout service
• Prepare garnishes, juices, syrups and other bar mise en place as needed
• Monitor inventory and communicate low-stock items to management
• Follow responsible alcohol service practices and all applicable Florida alcohol regulations
• Properly handle cash and credit card transactions
• Complete opening, closing and side-work responsibilities
• Maintain sanitation and food-safety standards
• Work closely with the kitchen, bar and floor teams to keep service running smoothly
• Help create the upbeat, welcoming atmosphere we want B8KR to be known for

• Previous bartending experience in a high-volume restaurant, bar or hospitality environment preferred
• Strong working knowledge of classic cocktails, spirits, beer and wine
• Comfortable executing house cocktails consistently from established recipes
• Ability to work quickly and stay organized during high-volume service
• Excellent communication and guest-service skills
• Reliable, punctual and team-oriented
• Positive attitude and willingness to jump in wherever needed
• Comfortable working in a casual, energetic environment
• Ability to stand for extended periods and lift/carry typical bar inventory and supplies
• Availability to work evenings, weekends and holidays as needed

B8KR PIZZA is a new Miami pizza concept serving naturally leavened, New York–style pizza at Skatebird Miami. The menu combines hand-stretched pizza, fresh salads and soft serve with a full bar featuring cocktails, beer and wine.
