Job Title

Travel Registered Nurse – Respiratory Med-Surg

Location

Zanesville, OH | Acute Care

Schedule / Job Type

Contract | Nights | 7:00 PM – 7:30 AM | Expected 36 hours/week | Every other weekend required

Key Responsibilities

• Deliver comprehensive nursing care to adult respiratory and medical-surgical patients on a 21-bed high-acuity unit specializing in pulmonary diseases
• Monitor and interpret continuous cardiac telemetry; telemetry strip reading competency assessment required on Day 1
• Collaborate with interdisciplinary teams to support high-quality patient outcomes and manage complex, rapidly changing patient conditions
• Float as needed within scope to similar Med-Surg units including Wound Care, Stroke, Oncology, Cardiac, Observation, and ED boarders

Required Qualifications

• Active Ohio RN license required at time of submission
• Current BLS certification required
• Minimum 3 years of recent Med-Surg and Telemetry experience
• Demonstrated ability to independently read and interpret telemetry strips
• Proficiency with Epic EMR is mandatory — no training or orientation to Epic will be provided; proficiency must be clearly documented at submission

Preferred Experience / Skills

• Prior experience in a high-acuity, high-volume respiratory or pulmonary care setting
• Comfort working across multiple Med-Surg specialties including Oncology, Stroke, or Cardiac units
• Ability to adapt quickly and work efficiently in environments with rapid patient turnover
