Oracle My SQL Database Architect

Full-time

Key Responsibilities:

  • Design and implement scalable MySQL database architectures .
  • Provide hands-on expertise in MySQL installation configuration upgrades and migrations .
  • Perform database performance tuning optimization and troubleshooting .
  • Design and manage HA replication backup and disaster recovery solutions.
  • Work with development and infrastructure teams on database design and best practices.
  • Monitor database health capacity security and availability.
  • Troubleshoot complex production database issues.

Required Skills:

  • 10 years of experience with MySQL Database Administration/Architecture .
  • Strong hands-on experience with MySQL SQL indexing query optimization and performance tuning .
  • Experience with MySQL Replication InnoDB HA/DR backup & recovery .
  • Experience with database migration and upgrade projects .
  • Strong understanding of Linux/Unix environments.
  • Experience with cloud platforms such as AWS/Azure is a plus.
  • Excellent troubleshooting and communication skills.
