Physical Therapist / Outpatient Rehabilitation

A growing outpatient rehabilitation organization in Southwest Virginia is seeking a full-time Physical Therapist to join its clinical team.

This permanent outpatient opportunity offers an $82,000 to $90,000 base salary , plus the opportunity to earn up to an additional $32,000 annually through a productivity-based incentive program . The position also offers a Monday through Friday schedule, comprehensive benefits, clinical mentorship, and opportunities for continued professional growth. New graduates are encouraged to apply.

Responsibilities

• Perform comprehensive patient evaluations and develop individualized plans of care.
• Provide evidence-based treatment for orthopedic, post-surgical, musculoskeletal, balance, vestibular, and mobility-related conditions.
• Help patients improve strength, mobility, balance, function, and overall quality of life.
• Monitor patient progress and adjust treatment plans according to clinical findings and functional goals.
• Educate patients and families regarding rehabilitation goals, home exercise programs, wellness, and injury prevention.
• Maintain accurate and timely clinical documentation.
• Collaborate with physicians and other healthcare professionals to support positive patient outcomes.
• Provide compassionate, patient-centered outpatient care.

Schedule

• Full-time, permanent position
• Outpatient clinic setting
• Monday through Friday
• Specific daily hours will be discussed during the screening process

Minimum Qualifications

• DPT or equivalent legacy Physical Therapy degree from a CAPTE-accredited program.
• Current Virginia Physical Therapist license or eligibility to obtain Virginia licensure.
• CPR certification or willingness to obtain as required.
• Strong clinical reasoning, communication, and interpersonal skills.

Experience

• New graduates are welcome.
• Experienced Physical Therapists are also encouraged to apply.
• Previous outpatient experience is a plus but not required.
• Clinical mentorship and professional development support are available.

Compensation

• Base salary: $82,000 to $90,000 annually
• Productivity incentive: up to an additional $32,000 annually
• Potential total annual compensation: up to $122,000, depending on base salary and individual productivity
