Pest Control Technician – Customer-Focused, Self-Directed Field Position

Remotus Pest Control is a privately owned, professionally operated pest control company serving Central Florida.

This is not a casual “run stops and move on” position. We expect clear communication, accurate service notes, proper follow-up, safe product application and a strong customer experience at every visit.

We are looking for someone who wants structure, standards and support without being micromanaged.

Position Summary

Remotus Pest Control is looking for a dependable Pest Control Technician who can represent the company professionally, communicate well with customers and manage daily field responsibilities without constant supervision.This position is ideal for someone who takes pride in doing the job correctly, understands the importance of customer service and can handle the technology and documentation side of pest control.

The right person must be able to complete scheduled services, document findings, communicate follow-up needs and use company software properly after each stop.

Good pest control service is not just applying product. It is communication, documentation, follow-through and professionalism.

Primary Responsibilities

• Perform scheduled pest control services in a professional and timely manner

• Inspect properties for pest activity, conducive conditions and customer concerns

• Apply products safely according to label directions and company procedures

• Communicate clearly with customers before, during and after service

• Document service notes, findings, treatment details and recommendations after every stop

• Use company software, mobile apps and scheduling tools accurately

• Communicate when a second treatment, third treatment or follow-up inspection is needed

• Report customer concerns, access issues, payment issues or service issues promptly

• Maintain a clean, organized service vehicle and equipment

• Follow all safety, licensing, product handling and company procedures

• Represent Remotus Pest Control with professionalism, respect and accountability

Required Qualifications

• Valid driver’s license and clean/reliable driving record

• Ability to work independently without constant supervision

• Strong customer service and communication skills

• Comfortable using a smartphone, mobile apps, scheduling software and service software

• Ability to write clear notes after each customer visit

• Dependable attendance and punctuality

• Professional appearance and attitude

• Ability to work in Florida heat and normal field conditions

• Ability to pass background and employment requirements

Preferred Qualifications

• Prior pest control experience

• Florida pest control identification card, certification or related industry experience

• Experience with general household pests, ants, roaches, spiders, rodents, mosquitoes or WDO-related conditions

• Experience with recurring service routes and follow-up treatments

• Experience communicating directly with customers in a field service role

Important Expectations

This position requires accurate documentation after every stop. If a service visit requires a second treatment, third treatment, follow-up inspection or customer communication, the technician is expected to document it and communicate it properly.

We need someone who can manage the field work, the customer experience and the software side of the job. The technician must be able to complete the service, communicate professionally and leave the company with clear information about what was done and what needs to happen next.
