About the Position

Description

As an Emergency Room Nurse, you will provide comprehensive care for patients in critical situations. Your responsibilities will include assessing patient conditions, implementing nursing interventions, and collaborating with the healthcare team to ensure optimal patient outcomes. This role requires strong clinical skills and the ability to thrive in a fast-paced environment, with a focus on delivering quality care. You will work rotating shifts, including two night shifts and a mid-shift each week, allowing for a balanced work-life schedule.

Requirements

• Nursing Certifications (TNCC)
• Immunizations including: MMR, Varicella, Polio, Hepatitis B Series, Current TDaP, Flu vaccination during Flu Season
• State License Details: Must Be Currently Active
• All copies of required certifications: BLS, ACLS (through American Heart Association) - PALS/TNCC preferred
• Resume
• Two recent employment references
• OIG-Date within 30 days of start date
• Respiratory Fit Test within 1 year of start date
• General Certifications (ACLS, BLS/BCLS, PALS)
• Criminal Background check within 30 days of start date
• National &/or State Sex Offender check within 30 days of start date
• Negative 2-step Mantoux or QuantiFERON Gold
• Iowa Mandatory Reporter Certificates (Child Abuse & Dependent Adult Abuse)
• Online verification of licensure or certification to include expiration date and any disciplinary actions within 30 days of start date
• Completion of CareLearning education modules
• 10 Panel Drug Screen within 1 month of start date
• Proof of physical within 1 year of start date
