Office of the Ohio Public Defender is seeking an attorney to serve as an Assistant Public Defender in the Appeals & Postconviction (APC) Department. The APC Department primarily represents adults in direct appeals following trial and handles postconviction petitions and related writs as needed. As an Assistant Public Defender, you will manage your own caseload under supervision, review trial records to identify viable appellate claims, and work with clients to outline strategies to achieve #J-18808-Ljbffr National Legal Aid & Defender Association
