What We Offer * Medical, dental, and vision insurance * 401(k) retirement savings plan * Basic life insurance * Accident and critical illness insurance * Employee discounts on vehicles, parts, service, and other products * Flexible scheduling * A team-oriented work environment with a strong commitment to work-life balance * Career advancement opportunities within a growing, family-owned automotive group * Ongoing professional development and leadership growth opportunities Key Responsibilities * Lead, manage, and motivate the sales team to achieve and exceed monthly sales targets * Coach, train, and develop sales consultants to improve individual and overall team performance * Oversee the pre-owned vehicle sales process from customer engagement through deal closing * Work directly with sales consultants to assist with negotiations, overcome objections, and close deals * Monitor key performance indicators, including units sold, gross profit, closing ratios, and customer satisfaction * Manage used vehicle inventory, appraisals, pricing, and merchandising strategies to maximize profitability * Maintain accountability for sales goals, team productivity, and dealership performance * Ensure proper use of CRM systems, follow-up processes, and lead management tools * Build and maintain strong customer relationships while ensuring a professional, customer-focused buying experience * Collaborate with the Finance and Insurance, Service, and Parts departments to support dealership operations * Monitor market trends and competitor activity to identify opportunities for increased sales and profitability * Maintain high standards of professionalism, integrity, and compliance with dealership policies and procedures * Partner with dealership leadership to develop strategies that support continued growth and profitability Qualifications * 5+ years of automotive sales experience, preferably in a high-volume or premium dealership environment * At least 2 years of experience in an automotive Sales Manager role * Proven track record of meeting or exceeding sales goals and driving profitability * Demonstrated ability to lead, motivate, coach, and hold sales teams accountable * Strong knowledge of pre-owned vehicle operations, inventory management, appraisals, and pricing strategies * Experience with automotive CRM, Dealer Management Systems (DMS), and appraisal tools * Excellent communication, negotiation, problem-solving, and customer service skills * Strong business acumen with the ability to analyze sales reports, performance metrics, and profitability * Highly organized with the ability to manage multiple priorities in a fast-paced environment * Professional demeanor with a commitment to honesty, integrity, and customer satisfaction * Valid driver's license with a clean driving record * Ability to successfully complete applicable background screening * Availability to work Saturdays and attend dealership events as needed Physical Requirements * Ability to spend extended periods sitting at a desk and working on a computer * Ability to remain active on the dealership floor and assist with daily sales operations * Ability to lift up to 15 pounds as needed Join Our Leadership Team If you are an experienced automotive sales leader who thrives on developing people, driving results, and building a successful sales operation, we want to hear from you.
