Schedule will rotate as follows: Work Mon & Tues / off Wed and Thurs / Work Fri, Sat, & Sun / Off Mon & Tues / Work Wed & Thurs / Off Fri, Sat, & Sun.... then repeat cycle) Schedule does rotate every 2 months from dayshift to nightshift (repeat).Will this candidate be dealing with Private Personal Information (PPI), Company Sensitive Information, or Credit Sensitive Information?YesWill the candidate/position require export controls review:Yes, if the candidate was born outside the US.Are any certification required:No, but must be able to pass a background and obtain UAA (nuclear) clearance.Top Required Skills:Prior experience in a security position/environmentAbility to monitor and respond to security eventsKnowledge and understanding of security concepts and sophisticated security technologies to support a security operations centerBe able to multi-task between various alarm systems, video management systems, and handle incoming phone calls.Basic computer operation skills & MS officeStrong communication skills both verbal and writtenAbility to lead, collaborate, or work effectively in a variety of teams, including multi-disciplinary teams.High Level Project Overview:The idea candidate for this role has general knowledge of security in a public-safety emergency center, government fusion center, or in an investigative or analytical role in law enforcement, corporate security, regulatory, fusion center, or other investigative agency or organization.Provides analytical and tactical support for a centralized, security operations centerUtilizes sophisticated security systems and technologies for intrusion analysis, subtle event detection, video analytics, and incident managementManages multiple, electronic, access control systems, to monitor and facilitate response for automated alarm systemsCollaborates with others in security, making decisions in a high-stress environmentManages multiple priorities with consistent resultsAssesses incoming threat streams, to develop accurate conclusions on security events at monitored sitesUtilizes strong, critical thinking skills, to evaluate suspicious activities and pre-operational indicators at or near company sitesDocuments security incidents, alarm activity, and alarm responses timely and accuratelyInteracts routinely with law enforcement during routine operations, drills, or emergencies at company facilitiesAssumes primary responsibility for responding to emergency contingencies at all company facilitiesAdheres to and updates departmental, security operating proceduresSupports regulatory compliance for access control systemsMay provide assistance in assessing and/or investigating security events, to determine associated threats and appropriate responseMay assist in performing complex analyses, using automated and manual systemsMay coordinate emergency notification procedures, in accordance with company response plansPerform other duties as requested or assignedSuccessful candidate will be working in 24/7 operated control roomConsistent demonstration of strong, critical thinking and decision-making skills, applied in a security environmentMonitor and respond to security eventsProvide in-depth, security expertiseAssess security incidents and to take appropriate actionManage the flow of sensitive informationCoordinate and manage multiple work processesProvide leadership in a team environmentWork independently and to achieve results with little supervisionRequired Years of Experience:0 - 2 years directly related, general knowledge of security in a public-safety organization, emergency services center, government fusion center, or in an investigative or analytical role in law enforcement, corporate security, regulatory, fusion center, or other investigative agency or similar organizationEducation:Associate in criminal justice and/or related military experience (if military experience must have HS Degree or equivalency)Prior experience in either a public safety emergency center, government fusion center, or in an investigative or analytical role in law enforcement/corporate security/regulatory/fusion center or other investigative operationPreferred Interview Process Overview (High level):Onsite Interview
