Contract (13 Weeks) | Full-Time | Onsite | Night Shift (12-Hour Nights) | 36 Guaranteed Hours per Week

Key Responsibilities

• Provide direct patient care in a Labor and Delivery unit at a Level 2 rural hospital averaging approximately 70 deliveries per month
• Float to Postpartum or Mother/Baby within the same department as needed
• Perform strong patient assessments and apply critical thinking skills throughout all stages of labor and delivery
• Circulate Cesarean sections and support VBAC deliveries as part of routine unit operations
• Collaborate effectively with OB/GYN providers, family practice physicians, pediatric hospitalists, and anesthesia staff
• Maintain accurate and timely charting using electronic health record systems

Required Qualifications

• Active Registered Nurse (RN) license
• Minimum of 3 years of Labor and Delivery experience
• Current BLS, NRP, and ACLS certifications (must be submitted at time of application)
• Proficiency with EPIC and/or OBIX charting systems
• Experience circulating Cesarean sections
• Strong assessment, critical thinking, and communication skills

Preferred Experience / Skills

• Spinning Babies experience or similar positioning/labor support techniques
• Experience working in a rural or community hospital setting
• Demonstrated adaptability, resilience, and ability to manage change in a fast-paced environment
