Job Description

As a Security Officer Full Time Driver Patrol in LOS ANGELES, CA, you will serve and safeguard clients in a range of industries such as Logistics & Distribution, and more. As an Unarmed Patrol Officer at a logistics and distribution location, you will conduct routine patrols, monitor access points, and maintain a visible presence to help deter security-related incidents. This driving post requires a valid driver's license in the job state. You will provide outstanding customer service, communicate professionally, and support site operations through teamwork, integrity, and Allied Universal's agile, reliable, innovative, and caring culture.

Pay Rate: $19.40 / Hour

Thur 01:00 PM - 09:00 PM

Fri 01:00 PM - 09:00 PM

Sat 01:00 PM - 09:00 PM

Sun 01:00 PM - 09:00 PM

What You'll Do:

• Provide customer service to clients by carrying out security-related procedures, site-specific policies, and when appropriate, emergency response activities at a logistics and distribution location.
• Respond to incidents, access-control concerns, and critical situations in a calm, problem-solving manner, following established site protocols.
• Conduct regular and random unarmed patrols of loading areas, vehicle entrances, employee access points, warehouse spaces, parking areas, and the perimeter.
• Monitor access to the location by verifying credentials, observing visitor and delivery activity, and reporting unusual conditions to appropriate site contacts.
• Prepare accurate reports of incidents, observations, and patrol activity, and communicate relevant information to Allied Universal leadership and site personnel.

Minimum Requirements:

• A valid driver's license is required in the state where the job is located.
• Have at least one year of security-related experience.
• Provide proof of a high school diploma or GED.
• Be at least 21 years of age.
• Access control and badge experience is preferred.
• Be at least 18 years of age for unarmed roles; 21+ years of age for armed roles.
• Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.
• As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a background investigation in accordance with all federal, state, and local laws.
• Allied Universal will consider qualified applications with criminal histories in a manner consistent with applicable laws.
• As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a drug screen to the extent permitted by law.
• Licensing requirements are subject to state and/or local laws and regulations and may be required prior to employment.
• A valid driver's license will be required for driving positions only.
